Hey there, I’m Mel, a queer & alternative hairstylist based in Richmond, VA and owner of Evergreen Beauty Studio. I’m located inside Sola Salons (Studio #20), where I offer a private, welcoming salon space designed to feel relaxed, creative, and completely personalized to you. I’m currently accepting new clients! Every appointment is customized to your lifestyle, maintenance preferences, and personal style. I love getting to do all kinds of haircuts, from soft, blowout-style long layers to edgy, textured razor cuts. When it comes to color, I truly enjoy it all! Bright out-of-the-box vivids, dimensional highlights for both blondes and brunettes, natural gray coverage, rich all over tones, and even color corrections. Whether you’re looking for something subtle and polished or bold and expressive, we’ll design something that fits you. My goal is always to provide a fun, collaborative, and relaxing experience where you feel comfortable being yourself and confident in the final result. Outside of the salon, you can usually find me at home playing guitar, hanging out with my two kitties, or working on a puzzle. Cancellation Policy
Please note that there will be a 50% cancellation fee for appointments that are cancelled with less than 48 hours notice. This fee will also apply to clients who “no call no show” their scheduled appointment. If a client is more than 20 minutes late, the appointment will need to be rescheduled or potentially cancelled, and the cancellation fee will also apply.
I kindly ask for your understanding regarding this policy, as it allows me to better manage my schedule and finances as a solo business owner. By adhering to this policy, we can ensure a smooth and efficient experience for everyone.
